Because our apparel collections consist of authentic handcrafted items—including genuine Bandhani, Batik, and Ajrakh—each order is thoroughly inspected for quality and securely packaged before it enters our logistics network.
1. Order Processing & Handling Windows
All standard orders undergo a dedicated processing, validation, and packaging cycle at our center prior to carrier handover:
- In-Stock Inventory: Orders are typically processed and handed over to our shipping carriers within 1 to 3 business days from confirmed payment authorization.
- Sourcing/Crafting Alerts: Due to the slow, manual nature of authentic tie-dye and hand-block printing, certain high-end custom collections or back-ordered variants may require additional time. If an item has a longer lead time, it will be clearly noted on the individual product page before checkout.
- Operational Schedule: Shipments are processed and dispatched Monday through Saturday. No shipments are handed off on Sundays or major regional and national public holidays.
2. Domestic Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates (India)
We partner with reliable premium domestic surface and air couriers to handle shipments within India. Estimated delivery windows depend heavily on destination access points:

3. Shipment Confirmations & Tracking Mechanics
Once your package is packed and leaves our facility in Bhuj, you will receive an automated Shipment Confirmation Email and an SMS notification containing your unique Airway Bill (AWB) number and direct courier tracking coordinates.
Please allow up to 24 hours from receipt of the notification for the tracking link to update and show active transit coordinates on the carrier’s tracking database.
4. International Shipping & Cross-Border Logistics
AHVAN offers global shipping to help textile enthusiasts worldwide access authentic Kutch craftsmanship.
- International Timelines: Global shipments typically arrive within 10 to 14 business days from dispatch, depending on customs processing speeds in the destination country.
- Customs, Duties, & Regional Taxes: All international shipments are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. Any customs duties, import tariffs, brokerage fees, or local consumption taxes levied by your country's customs authority are the sole responsibility of the customer and must be settled locally upon delivery.
5. Transit Damage, Delivery Discrepancies & Address Errors
Incorrect Address Data: AHVAN cannot be held liable for delivery failures resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or invalid shipping addresses entered during checkout. If a package is returned to our hub in Bhuj due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.
Transit Issues: If your package arrives structurally broken or open, please refuse delivery if possible, or take clear photographs immediately. Reach out to our support team within 24 hours of the delivery attempt so we can file an official carrier claim.
